Branding a new service for a specialist engineering company
Intrepid created this logo as part of the branding of a new service launched by Interface Force Measurements, a specialist company providing solutions for force or torque measurement applications.
The service will allow continuous remote monitoring of sensors which will alert users to potential component failures, before they happen.
The name Semota, was chosen as it stands for ‘Sense, Monitor, Trigger and Action’ and also means ‘remote’. In addition a Semota is a type of five-leaf flower. This is reflected in the five key features of the service.
The branding element of the intertwined circles emphasizes these features, while also suggesting the shape of the sensors themselves. The circular spiral suggests a 24/7 continuous cycle. The strap-line was created to be direct, concise and clear – just like the data it relays.
