Explaining complex ideas visually can make a real difference to understanding. This compact yet concise organisation structure infographic was created as part of a REF 2021 environment statement submission.
The infographic shows the structure of UoA 19 at the University of Reading, outlining interactions between people, research clusters and internal structures in a clear, accessible format.
Designing for REF required careful consideration of the A4 submission format and strict page limits. The infographic therefore needed to remain clear and legible at actual print size, ensuring complex information could be understood quickly and accurately.
